lock up your children

the child catcher comes

takes them away day after the day

the number of children will drop

child catching is what he does best

its nothing your mummy can stop

tempts them with sweeties, lots of free treaties

i know it is hard to say no

resisting his offers causes him bother one less child to nab

the child catcher works on 3 rules, here your attention i'll need

so gather round close and listen to the catcher creed

cause in some time you'll use it indeed

the first rule of the catcher man, he likes it when you scream

your whines and yelps will do you no good

nor they ever should!

they will only help to get him off… so don't do it

rule number two of the catcher creed the more you fear the more he will come

if you lie in bed all alone at night and he is all that pass through your head

into your bedroom he'll appear, for more you linger on fear of the man the easier you are to smell

rule number three of this decree is by far the worst

look in his eyes he'll hypnotise, then no doubt you'll be screwed
