WHO IS JOE BLACK?

Joe Black is a cabaret singer, musician & artist based in Brighton, UK.

Inspired by the cabarets and lowbrow theatre of early 20th century Europe, with particular focus and interest on the art, theatre and performance of pre war Weimar Berlin.

His work often explores the darkly comic, macabre or surreal. His live shows are a combination of storytelling and song, with a mix of original and reinterpreted material.

Since 2007 He has toured extensively across the UK & Europe. As well as appearances in Australia and America. Since 2023 He hosts and produces the quarterly variety show ‘Kleines Kabarett’, taking place at Komedia Brighton.
